Today we have chosen to feature a DJ, dealing with remixes and remakes. He has among other things made a remix of Skrillex ‘”Kyoto”, and a remake of superstar Psy’s sequel to “Gangnam Style”, the new track “Gentleman”. We look forward to hearing more from the talented SKNB in the future!
*His new artistname is “SKNB”, and his former name was “DJ Deux”
Each month, the team behind Upcoming DJs pick, a DJ who they think has potential. The chosen DJ will then be exposed throughout the month.
“Upcoming of the month”.
APRIL
There is no requirement to genres. It can be pop, trance, rock, house or anything else. The only restrictions there are, is that the selected DJ must have made a minimum of 2 tracks over the last 2 months.
This months “Upcoming DJ” is Pulsman!
We have chosen Pulsman because we think his music has potential. It is very Avicii inspired, but it does not have to be a bad thing. Pulsman manage to keep the fine line between self made music and rip off. It’s certainly not the last time we will hear from Pulsman.
We hope that we can help him to get his music more widely exposed.
Yet another DJ contacted us on our facebook page to get his music exposed. This time it was the DJ – Niko Tiapula. He specializes in progressive house / trance / electro. He produce music under the names Niko Tiapula and “The Toologist”. There is much potential in the tracks he produces, and it’s certainly not the last time we’re gonna see him here at Upcoming DJs blog!
Yet another DJ contacted us on our facebook page to get his music exposed.
This time there it was DJ Equinoxxx. His tracks are a mixture of mash ups and instrumental hip hop beats. Enjoy his “Thanksgiving Mix”. Pay particular attention to part with Knife Party – Internet Friends, which he has set to merge with zoom. The crew at Upcoming DJs are impressed.
One day I received a message in my inbox, which said: “IF YOU LOVE HOUSE MUSIC JUST CLICK PLAY!”
I took the chance and I must say that I was extremely impressed with the track that was linked to. Joey Pinto has really managed to create his own track from Coldplays “Life In Technicolor”. Of all the aspiring DJs we’ve heard so far, Joey Pinto is placed at the very top. We really hope that we get to hear more from him!
An aspiring DJ that we have talked a lot with is the young Fabri. He made quite a few tracks by now, and you can find them all at his sound cloud (link below) The track “Just You” is his latest, and we really think it has potential. We are confident that we will be hearing more Fabri in the future!
The first aspiring DJ we will feature on the page is Pulsman. The track is a few months old, but we still think that it has potential. Some people will probably think that it sounds a lot like something Avicii could have made - and here’s why. Pulsman has used the same piano that Avicii is known to use. We look forward to hearing more from Pulsman in the future.
After long-term problems with our domain, we have chosen to create a temporary blog instead. The blog will still offer the same as the “real” website would – that you can get your music exposed.
We want to take Upcoming DJs to a higher level with this blog. But we can only achieve the level if you help!
As an offer to get the blog up and running, everyone who posts their tracks on our facebook wall, get their tracks exposed here on the blog.
